In November, the organization’s social worker, Knarik Simonyan, participated in a conference in Strasbourg dedicated to combating gender-based violence.

During the event, participants met with Jeanne Barseghian, Mayor of Strasbourg; Véronique Bertholle, Deputy Mayor in charge of international and European relations; Christelle Vidal, Deputy Mayor for women’s rights and gender equality; as well as representatives of civil society organizations working in the field of women’s rights .As part of the program, Knarik also took part in study visits to Strasbourg-based NGOs engaged in the protection of women’s rights and presented Armenia’s and the Women’s Rights House’s experience.

The aim of the meeting was to establish connections between Armenian and French cities through experience exchange and new opportunities for cooperation.
