The first course of the “Women’s Economic Empowerment” program was very interesting and informative.

The trainer Vahan Movsisyan presented the enlargement of communities, the topic of women’s political participation, at the same time, the participants of the program raised various questions and received comprehensive answers․

“Women’s Economic Empowerment” program aims to give opportunities to women of socially vulnerable groups

📍 acquire knowledge and skills to integrate and become competitive in the labor market,

📍 become a participant in management and participatory processes, learn about local government services,

📍 establish and develop agricultural or micro-enterprises.Women will also have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in practice through small grants and increase their income․

We implement the project with the cooperation of World Vision Armenia – Վորլդ Վիժն Հայաստան, Green Lane NGO, AGBU Chicago, Armenian General Benevolent Union, with the joint efforts of World Vision Amasya and Chambarak Regional Centers, “Martuni Women’s Community Council”, “Women’s Rights House” NGO.

The project is implemented within the framework of the “Economic Empowerment of Women in the South Caucasus, Phase II” project, which in turn is implemented jointly by United Nations-Women and the United Nations Development Program.
