WRH President/lawyer Karine Davtyan and lawyer-experts Edgar Petrosyan, Misak Markosyan, Davit Tumasyan, and Manush Maralchyan conducted a series of trainings for Shirak community’s police officers in July.

The purpose of the training was to introduce the new provisions of the law “On Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence and Protection of Persons Exposed to Family and Domestic Violence” to the police officers, as well as to discuss and define the mechanisms and features of preventing, responding to, and directing cases of domestic violence.

We are implementing the initiative with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, being a support center providing services delegated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
