Within the framework of the “Promotion of women’s participation in political and civil life” program, we organized the second study visit for women and girls of Shirak region.

The participants of the program discussed with the female leaders of the Gyumri municipality, raised various community issues, questions, such as community transport system, street lighting, cleanliness, garbage collection, provision of social housing and many other related issues and received comprehensive answers.

The purpose of the meetings is to improve and promote young women, girls’ active involvement in democratic processes through introductory visits, public forums, grants, as well as exchange of experience, management issues, and ways to overcome them.
