Women’s Rights House is launching a three-day youth camp for young women in the Shirak region, which is open to all women aged 18-35, including first-time voters, members of marginalized groups and others.

The goal of the program is to improve and promote the active involvement of young women, girls in democratic processes through youth camps, study visits, public forums, grants, and involvement in self-governing community initiatives.

Individuals and groups who successfully participate in the training will have the opportunity to receive one of the 6 sub-grants, which should be aimed at effective solutions to community problems.

You can apply to the program if you

🔹are 18-35 years old,

🔹got an education in political science, law, and other related fields,

🔹are interested in women’s political participation

🔹want to solve community problems.

The application deadline is 29.05.2022.

The speakers at the camp will be women politicians, activists, and representatives of local NGOs, who will cover a variety of topics, including women’s political participation, leadership, civic activism, human rights, political campaigns, media literacy, communication advocacy, and many other related topics.

The camp will take place in July.
