Today, within the framework of the “Engaging Shirak’s youth to challenge gender roles and stereotypes” project we held another meeting at the Culture’s House in Artik.

During the meeting, the speakers discussed gender inequality, impact in social, economic and political spheres, as well as the stereotypes they face at home, at workplace, in educational and other systems.

The aim of the project is to engage youth in addressing and challenging unwanted gender norms, empowering them to become advocates and change-makers in their communities of the Shirak region.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy Yerevan .
