Within the framework of the “Promotion of women’s participation in political and civil life” program, we organized the 4-rd study visit for 25 young women and girls of the Shirak region.
25 young women and girls of the Shirak region had the opportunity to discuss, and raise a variety of community issues and receive comprehensive answers from the Mayor of the Municipality of Ejmiatsin Diana Gasparyan.
We also visited the city library in Etchmiadzin.
The purpose of the meetings is to improve and promote young women, and girls’ active involvement in democratic processes through introductory visits, public forums, and grants, as well as the exchange of experience, management issues, and ways to overcome them.
