Domestic violence, types, cases, and legislative gaps were discussed in the Dialogue Media Center – DMC, in which the President of the Women’s Rights House Karine Davtyan Amirbekyan also participated.

According to the data of the investigative committee, in the first half of 2022, 391 criminal cases regarding domestic violence were investigated. In 2022, the highest rate of violence against women was recorded.

The Women’s Rights House provides free psychological, social and legal counseling to persons and children subjected to domestic/sexual violence, as well as a shelter service in case of need, financial support for accommodation, food and hygiene items.
