We have come to tell you about our another project.

In the framework of the project “Enhancing women’s political participation in the Shirak region through podcasts, a youth camp, film competition, and public forum”, we have implemented several activities.

In August, we held a two-day youth camp, in which 25 women and girls from the Shirak region participated. During the camp, we had meetings with female politicians who talked about women’s political participation, human rights, the role of women in the community, and other related topics.

You can see posts about the 1st and the 2nd day of the camp here.
We published 6 podcasts with the participation of women activists and politicians on women’s political participation, leadership, community development, gender quota, feminism, and other topics.

You can listen to the podcasts here.

We have announced a competition for the creation of short films for women and girls aged 18-35.

In the near future, we plan to hold an event during which the 3 selected films will be shown and a discussion will be held by the film festival scene, influencers, and other interested parties. After the discussion of the films, there will be networking around wine.In the end, it is planned to hold a closing event (forum) of the project during which the activities implemented during the project will be presented and the results will be summarized.

Wait for further details soon.

The project is implemented with the support of the Canadian Foundation for Local Initiatives.
