On November 17 was held a meeting with women and girls of the enlarged Akhuryan community within the framework of the regular program “Women’s Empowerment for Economic Development” on the topic “Participation in community processes”.

During the meeting was discussed their participation in community processes, necessity and electoral system of the local government․

The meeting was held by the expert of the “School of Local Democracy ” David Margaryan.The project in Shirak Marz is implemented by the joint efforts of World Vision Armenia – Վորլդ Վիժն Հայաստան and the “Women’s Rights House” NGO. The project is implemented within the framework of the “Economic Empowerment of Women in the South Caucasus, Phase II” project, which in turn is implemented jointly by United Nations Women and UNDP in Armenia.
