The forum of the “Engaging Shirak’s youth to challenge gender roles and stereotypes” project took place today.
The organization and the activities carried out during the project were presented, within the framework of which we met with 67 young people from 5 communities of the Shirak region, then the strategy for the implementation of effective human rights awareness-raising campaigns and the “Anatomy of gender, gender stereotypes, discrimination, and inequality” manual were developed. An art competition was announced, and the selection committee was formed, after which the winners of the competition were chosen.

The project is implemented with the support of the U.S. Embassy Yerevan.
